PLANTAR FASCIITIS.     The Plantar fascia is a thin Ligament that connects your heel to the front of your foot, it supports the arch in your foot and is important in helping you walk. too much pressure on your foot can damage or tear the Ligaments which causes infammation and results in heel pain and stifness. The plantar fasicia ligaments act as shock absorbers supporting the arch of your foot. Being overwight or pregnant puts increased pressure on the Ligaments. marathon Runners are also more likely to develop plantar fasciitis. Active people between the ages of 40 - 70 years are at highest risk of this condition. if you have high arches or flat feet or tight achilles tendons you are at increased risk of plantar fasciitis wearing shoes with good arch support can prevent this condition. Reflexology can help to improve plantar fasciitis by Releasing tension and inflammation by working on the endocrine system and the solar plexus and all systems of the Body.
