ANXIETY.    Anxiety is an emotional response to an outside or internal stresser which causes many body activities to be stimulated everybody knows this feeling of presure and tension which causes the adrenal glands  to release adrenaline and noradrenaline into the bloodstrem, which cause nervous stimulation to many         organs in the body, heart rate increases, blood vessels constrict, breathing becomes quicker. This is the fight or flight response and prolonged stress and anxiety will deplete the body of essential nutrients, especially vitamins B, most notably pantothenic acid and vitamin C, essential for the adrenals. Long term stress can affect blood presure and digestive function. Reflexology is a great atidote to stress and negates the fear, anxiey, panic that affects the body, giving deep relaxation.
